Alexander M. Berkowitz serves as Treasurer for Fairholme Funds, Inc. since September 2024. Mr. Berkowitz is also the Chief Legal Officer and Treasurer of Fairholme Capital Management.

Mr. Berkowitz joined Fairholme Capital Management as an Analyst and Client Services Administrator in 2013. In September 2015, Mr. Berkowitz began working as a Trust Administrator for Fairholme Trust Company, an affiliate of Fairholme Capital, until its closure in September 2019. At that time, Mr. Berkowitz resumed his role as a Client Services Administrator at Fairholme Capital.

Mr. Berkowitz earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Miami in 2011, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami in 2015, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2024.
